Newbie Question

Hi, y'all.

I am just starting on this path of creating with concrete. My first project is going to be making tiles to redo a bathtub surround. I've already gotten some great advice from Buddy in the Artist's Exchange forum.

I will be using the mix and all the other products for the tiles that will end up on the wall, but I'm thinking that for the first attempts I might not want to use the good stuff. Can y'all give me a basic recipe that might allow me to practice and learn a few of those trial and error lessons cheaper? Or direct me to some info that would fit that bill?
